Cat Eye gels contain magnetic particles that shift under a magnet to create a line of light, just like the reflective flash you see in a cat’s eye (hence the name).

Here’s how to get the look:

• Start with your usual prep – file, shape, remove cuticles, and buff the nail surface.
• Apply base coat and cure.
• Apply a black base (optional, but highly recommended for maximum impact), and cure.
• Apply a thin layer of Cat Eye Gel Polish, but don’t cure yet.
• Hold your Cat Eye Magnet over the nail for 5–10 seconds. Hover it about 1–2mm above the surface to pull the light line into position.
• Once you’re happy with the effect, cure under your lamp (LED/UV as recommended for your system).
• Repeat for a second coat if desired, using the magnet again, then cure.
• Finish with top coat, cure again, and cleanse if required. ✨

Pro tip: Move the magnet in different angles or directions (side, diagonal, corner-to-corner) to play with the design – you can create curved lines, beams, and even halo effects.
